The national home of padel in The Bahamas

Constituted at Nassau on 14 October 2026, The Bahamas Padel Federation is the sole national governing body for the sport of padel in The Commonwealth of The Bahamas. It licenses players, sanctions competition, and represents the country within the International Padel Federation.

Constitution

International
Affiliated to the International Padel Federation, approved at its General Assembly held in Madrid on 12 October 2026.
Our purpose

One federation, one standard, one pathway

The Federation exists for sporting, educational and community purposes. It is a non profit association: no part of its income or property is distributed to any member or officer, and every surplus returns to the game.

Where it started

Built on courts that already exist

Padel arrived in The Bahamas before any governing body did. The courts, the coaching staff and the first competitive calendar were built at the Champion Spirit Country Club in Nassau, which has carried the project to create a national federation since 2024.

The International Padel Federation visited the club in April 2026. Discussions have continued since on the hosting of a FIP Promises junior tournament within the Americas circuit, and on a wider partnership for the development of padel in The Bahamas and across the Caribbean.

The Federation is open by design. Membership is available to every club, academy and organisation in The Bahamas operating padel facilities or programmes.
